even though i have seen every episode so many times by now, it never gets old. i remember, starting when i was 4, every night we would watch i love lucy at 8pm on Nick at Nite (back when it still knew what “classic” meant). mom and dad would always tell me stories of how they used to crowd around their black and white tvs when they were kids and watch it with their families, too.  so when i came to college, my parents bought the first few seasons on dvd and sent me away….i watch one pretty much every single night as i’m falling asleep. tonight happens to be my favorite episode of them all!
